Have you ever wanted five minutes to say your piece? Whether it be about parking or politics, supermarkets or superpowers, benefits or Barack Obama; if you had just five minutes, what would you say?
Oxford Playhouse and Pegasus Theatre present Soapbox City, a chance for Oxford’s residents to address the world. On Thursday 1 May, 144 speakers will take to a soapbox on Broad Street for 12 hours of continuous public address, and we want YOU to join us. Speakers will include famous faces, extraordinary storytellers, and you - spark a debate, make us dream, change how we see the world. And if speaking isn’t for you, come along and listen to an extraordinary mix of opinions and ideas at any point during the day.
